Pink Eye Pillows
This remedy is not just for conjunctivitis (but you must admit, it is a cute name) but can be used for styes, scratched corneas, and foreign objects that need flushing out.
It can be used two ways: as an eyewash (you brew it like a tea and let it cool) and as a compress (you use the bag directly on the eye- this is especially helpful for styes). The herbs in the formula soothe & clean your delicate eyes and kill bacterial and viral infection, too.
Each bag comes with 6 pillows, which will make enough wash for your infection as well as using the 6 as compresses.
Ingredients (locally sourced whenever possible): Raspberry Leaf*, Comfrey Leaf*, Goldenseal*, Thyme* (*organic)
How to Use:
For styes, we recommend using both the tea and the compress- warm, but not hot. Brew the tea bag in 8 oz. of water and use to bathe the infected area. Make a compress: put a washcloth under hot water, squeeze out residual water, and place the tea bag over the stye and cover with hot compress on top.
For a wash (used for corneal scratches, flushing out things from the eye, and conjunctivitis, brew the tea as directed above and use as a wash.
