Q: What's the difference between bird flu and swine flu?
A: If you have bird flu, you need tweetment. If you have swine flu, you need oink-ment.

Seriously, though- this tea is invaluable for colds of all types!  This amazing tisane contains no caffeine- only herbs that help with the causes and symptoms of respiratory illness! Immune boosting, microbe and congestion fighting herbs all blend together for a pleasant tasting brew! We vary this recipe seasonally based on local herb availability (current batch ingredients below), but it is always fantastic and effective.

Our tisanes come 2 ounces to a bag.

Ingredients (locally sourced whenever possible): Elderberries*, Bayberry*, Goldenseal*, Yarrow*, Peppermint*, Lemon Balm* (*organic)

How to Brew a Tisane:
Medicinal tisanes can be brewed cold or hot and always steep longer than "teas"- for a hot infusion, try 15-20 minutes instead of 2 or 3. For a cold infusion, use room temperature water overnight (then refrigerate what you don't use for up to 3 days).

Use 1 teaspoon of herb mix to every cup of water, regardless of infusion method. Sweeter does not take away the effectiveness, but this tisane is naturally sweet- so you may not need any.
