The Dwarf Everbearing Mulberry produces small to medium-sized, dark purple to black berries that have a sweet, rich taste with a hint of tartness. Great for both fresh eating and baking, jams, jellies, etc. Prune after fruiting to keep it small. You can technically keep this mulberry tree in a pot, but it won't be super happy after a few years, even with potting it up. Best grown in the ground. Consider protecting your mulberry tree if early frosts are a factor in your hardiness zone.

Arrives well-rooted in a 3.5” x 9” pot.

Latin Name: Morus nigra 'Dwarf Everbearing'
Site and Soil: Full sun, some light shade; well drained loamy soil, adaptable to heavy soils
Pollination Requirements: Self-pollinating but plant >1 for increased yield
Bearing Age: 1-2 years after planting.
Size at Maturity: 10-12' h x 10-12' w; smaller with pruning
Taste: Sweet, tart
Fruit Skin: dark purple
Ripening Time: Summer - Fall
Pests & Diseases: Mulberries are generally not bothered by pests or disease
USDA Zone: 5-10

Hey, you.
