Curly Roja Kale is an eye-catching and productive variety that brings both ornamental beauty and edible value to your garden. Its deeply ruffled leaves and striking purple stems create a vibrant contrast in beds or borders, while providing a steady harvest of nutritious greens. This variety thrives in cooler weather, and its flavor improves as temperatures drop—cold weather naturally sweetens the leaves, making them more tender and flavorful. It grows reliably in partial sun and adapts to a range of soil conditions, preferring fertile, well-drained ground enriched with organic matter.
For best results, direct sow in the garden when soil temperatures are between 55–75°F. Sow seeds 1/4–1/2" deep, and thin seedlings to allow 15–18" of space for mature growth. Plants reach 16–18" tall at maturity, producing a generous yield over the season. This heirloom is a great choice for edible landscaping as well as container gardens.

We post basic dosage guidelines, but keep in mind if you have more body mass or a faster metabolism than the average bear, you may need to take a larger dose than indicated. If there are hard-and-fast limitations on how often you can take the product, it will be listed on the package. Most can be used up to six times daily without problems (but we doubt that you would need to do that).
Remember, there are no "magic bullets" in life, and any product (herbal, pharmaceutical, or otherwise) claiming 100% success without knowing you, your constitution, and your lifestyle is lying and trying to get into your wallet. Often, herbalists (and MDs) need to try several products before we find the one that works for your unique biochemistry.
