Double Standard Corn is a fast-growing, early-maturing variety that produces delicious bi-color ears with tender, sweet kernels. Thriving in full sun and well-draining soil, this open-pollinated variety matures in just 70-75 days, making it one of the quickest corn varieties to harvest. The plants grow to about 6 feet tall and are highly productive, delivering multiple ears per stalk. Tender Annual Heirloom. This beautiful full-season bicolor corn produces 7" ears with 16-20 rows of kernels per ear. It is sweet, tender, and germinates in cold soil. Double Standard is an open-pollinated variety, and is a great choice for home gardeners.

Soil & Water: Corn is a heavy feeder requiring high amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK). Its weak and shallow root system likes loose soil with a high compost content.
Planting & Growing: Sow seeds directly outdoors 1 week after the last frost. You can start earlier by using black or green plastic mulches and floating row covers to obtain optimum conditions. Plant in blocks rather than rows to ensure good germination. To prevent cross-pollination, plant different varieties at least 500'.
Harvesting & Storage: Ripe corn usually has a small amount of green silk near the top, with dry, brownish silk at the ends. Sugar content is highest in the morning.

Herbal remedies, supplements, and tonics are fundamentally different from pharmaceuticals (and we like it that way). They are designed to restore your body and its systems to homeostasis gently- working with your body.

We post basic dosage guidelines, but keep in mind if you have more body mass or a faster metabolism than the average bear, you may need to take a larger dose than indicated. If there are hard-and-fast limitations on how often you can take the product, it will be listed on the package. Most can be used up to six times daily without problems (but we doubt that you would need to do that).
Remember, there are no "magic bullets" in life, and any product (herbal, pharmaceutical, or otherwise) claiming 100% success without knowing you, your constitution, and your lifestyle is lying and trying to get into your wallet. Often, herbalists (and MDs) need to try several products before we find the one that works for your unique biochemistry.
