"Festive Foliage" Houseplant Seed Mix
Get your home ready for the holidays with this Festive Foliage Seed mix! It includes a mix of houseplant seeds that grow into lovely red and green plants- already decked out for the holidays!
The seeds selected for this mix are beginner-friendly, germinate and grow relatively quickly, and thrive in part-full shade outdoors or in bright light indoors. Perfect for a family gardening project!Â
Instructions:
Select a planter with good drainage made out of a material like plastic, ceramic, or rice hull that will keep moisture sealed in. Water the potting mix generously and ensure it's wet, not soggy.
Sprinkle the seeds on fresh potting mix, cover the seeds with a light layer of soil, water lightly to ensure the seeds and soil are very moist. Cover the planter with a humidity dome(you can use a ziploc baggie or plastic wrap), and keep in a warm spot (>70F) out of direct sunlight (grow lights or a windowsill with filtered sun are best). Some seeds will germinate more quickly than others, give them some time to sprout! Once most of the seeds have germinated, start to remove the humidity dome, then the seedlings can gradually be acclimated to more sun.Â

Herbal remedies, supplements, and tonics are fundamentally different from pharmaceuticals (and we like it that way). They are designed to restore your body and its systems to homeostasis gently- working with your body.

We post basic dosage guidelines, but keep in mind if you have more body mass or a faster metabolism than the average bear, you may need to take a larger dose than indicated. If there are hard-and-fast limitations on how often you can take the product, it will be listed on the package. Most can be used up to six times daily without problems (but we doubt that you would need to do that).
Remember, there are no "magic bullets" in life, and any product (herbal, pharmaceutical, or otherwise) claiming 100% success without knowing you, your constitution, and your lifestyle is lying and trying to get into your wallet. Often, herbalists (and MDs) need to try several products before we find the one that works for your unique biochemistry.
