Homemade Pickles Cucumber is a high-yielding variety specially bred for making the perfect pickle. These short, blocky cucumbers grow to about 3-5 inches long, with tender green skin and crisp, juicy flesh that retains its crunch when pickled. The mild, refreshing flavor also makes them a great choice for fresh eating or slicing into salads. Thriving in full sun and nutrient-rich, well-draining soil, Homemade Pickles Cucumbers mature in just 50-55 days, delivering an early and abundant harvest. The vigorous vines are disease-resistant and highly productive, ensuring consistent yields throughout the growing season. This variety benefits from trellising, which saves space and makes harvesting easy. Regular picking encourages further fruit production, providing a steady supply for your kitchen. Whether you’re canning dill pickles, making bread-and-butter slices, or enjoying them fresh, Homemade Pickles Cucumber is a versatile and reliable addition to any garden. Its combination of productivity, flavor, and crunch makes it a favorite for gardeners and pickle enthusiasts alike.

Cucumber - Homemade Pickles - Cucumis sativus

Tender Annual Heirloom. Heavy-yielding variety that produces small, crisp, green, cucumbers for pickling or salads. The fruit grows to 5"-6" with white spines and medium green skin. The solid cored cucumbers should be harvested regularly to maintain good production throughout the season. Plants are disease-resistant and will maintain quality well over the season.

Did You Know? For a fog-free bathroom mirror, rub a slice of cucumber on the mirror before hopping into the shower.

Soil and Water: Plants need well-drained soil and will benefit from added compost or well composted manure. Watering should be moderate until flowering and then heavier as the fruits develop up until harvest

Planting and Growing: Cucumbers benefit from good air circulation and a mulch to keep moisture even. Sow indoors 3 weeks before last frost. If direct seeding, plant 5-6 seeds per hill two weeks after the last frost. Thin to the strongest 3 plants in hill. Plants can be trellised or run on the ground.

Harvesting and Storage: Fruits can be harvested at any desired size, from 1.5" - 5" and eaten fresh or made into pickles. Pick continuously to keep vines productive.

(Real) Ingredients

We use real pronounceable ingredients that are ethically sourced and high quality for your product.

We either grow or work with local growers to source for our formulas. This supports the local economy, gives us the most potent plants & reduces reliance upon fossil fuels.

We make products from herbs that will grow here over herbs from the Amazon, China, or Africa. Oftentimes, those trendy herbs are taken in an unsustainable way & local people do not have access to their native medicines any longer. Bioregional herbalism is where it's at!

Packaging

We are working to eliminate plastic from our packaging. Currently, 99% of our packaging is metal, glass, or paperboard. We are always looking for ways to eliminate microplastics from your body and the planet!

How to Use

Herbal remedies, supplements, and tonics are fundamentally different from pharmaceuticals (and we like it that way). They are designed to restore your body and its systems to homeostasis gently- working with your body.

Specifics on dosages and administration for all products are in our FAQ. Find the FAQ in the menu under the "About" Section.

We post basic dosage guidelines, but keep in mind if you have more body mass or a faster metabolism than the average bear, you may need to take a larger dose than indicated. If there are hard-and-fast limitations on how often you can take the product, it will be listed on the package. Most can be used up to six times daily without problems (but we doubt that you would need to do that).

Remember, there are no "magic bullets" in life, and any product (herbal, pharmaceutical, or otherwise) claiming 100% success without knowing you, your constitution, and your lifestyle is lying and trying to get into your wallet. Often, herbalists (and MDs) need to try several products before we find the one that works for your unique biochemistry.

Feel free to email us if the product didn't quite do the job, we can recommend another that could do the trick. We are blessed with many plants that have the same action in the body- and often it's just a matter of finding the right one for you.
