These versatile, metal, short safer straws are a huge hit at our house! I love to pair these straws with a silicone sleeve and lid for playdates that way the kids can keep track of their cup and keep my house neater!

Our straws are 5 3/4" long, have an 8mm outside diameter, and fit in most of our straw hole lids. They feature a 10.5mm locking tab near the end of the straw to keep it in the lid (so the straw cannot fall out without removing the lid). It's the perfect solution for kids who pull their straws out and can’t get them back in, and if the drink gets tipped over the straw stays in the jar (helping to contain the mess).

You need to put the straw in the jar first, then put the lid over the top and screw it on.

Mason jar straw hole lids can have different sized holes, so be sure to double check that your straws and lids are compatible.

The most reliable way to clean reusable straws is a thick straw cleaner (available here at Haven Herbs) with soap and hot water. They are also dishwasher safe, or a quick rinse might be sufficient. You can also boil these to disinfect them if you want to.
My personal cleaning routine is to rinse them after use, put them in the dishwasher, then run a straw cleaner through them and rinse again before putting them away. My dishwasher usually gets them clean but sometimes leaves a little residue so this ensures they are clean.

We post basic dosage guidelines, but keep in mind if you have more body mass or a faster metabolism than the average bear, you may need to take a larger dose than indicated. If there are hard-and-fast limitations on how often you can take the product, it will be listed on the package. Most can be used up to six times daily without problems (but we doubt that you would need to do that).

Remember, there are no "magic bullets" in life, and any product (herbal, pharmaceutical, or otherwise) claiming 100% success without knowing you, your constitution, and your lifestyle is lying and trying to get into your wallet. Often, herbalists (and MDs) need to try several products before we find the one that works for your unique biochemistry.
